Comprehensive improvement on dedusting system for 40 t EAF at Guanggang

In view of the fact that the six chief faults summed up from experience in past years were the electric arc furnace hood, while opened during charging and tapping, in a manner of none treatment and cure measures, while closed hardly to be sealed and etc, improvement on exhaust emission and dedusting system with advanced technology were then made. The project was composed of installation of inner and outer exhaust gas and fume system, sealed hood dedusting system and low pressure pulse dedusting collector. Key problems of setting up big size pipe and hood mounted on roof were tackled. So good results of social environment and economic profit have been obtained.
