Abstract:According to structural analysis of typical gold deposits in Central Inner Mongolia, the ore-controlling structures of gold deposits in the area are classified into three types, i.e.duetile shear zone, kink-bands and brittle faults. A ductile shear zone can be an ore-controlling tectonic zone, also a relatively enriched zone of gold and can control gold deposits directly during ductile shea-ring. There are special ore-bearing spaces in a kink-band.They are expanded fractures parallel to the strike direction of the bed near kink band, the tensional fractures obliquely crossing the strike direction of the bed near the kink band, and the saddle spaces in the turning part of the kink band. Brittle faults In the area can be divided into three types, the east-west faults formed before mineralization, the NNE faults formed during mineralization and the east-west faults formed after mineralization. It is favorable for mineralization when the east-west faults formed before mineralization are opened during mineralization.
