| Abstract: | The Distinguished Career Contribution Award recognizes continuous significant contributions made over a lifelong career in psychology; the Distinguished Contribution Award recognizes a specific but major contribution to education and training. These awards are given by the Education and Training Awards Committee. The winners for 1994 are Irwin Altman (Distinguished Career Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology) and Elizabeth M. Altmaier (Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology). Their accomplishments are cited and biographies are provided.
