摘    要:TheresultsofrecentChineseinvestigationsonmicrostructuralaspectsofsuperplasticdeformationarereviewed.Attentionisgiventograingro-wth,precipitate-freezoneformation,grainboundaryslidingandmigration,anddislocation(bothintragranulardislocationandgrainboundarydisloca-tion)activity.Inthefinalpartofthearticle,anewmodelofmicrograinsuperplasticdeformationbasedonthemovementofgrainboundarydisloca-tionsandinvolvingbothgrainboundaryslidinganddiffusionisdescribed.Thepredictionsofthemodelarecomparedwiththedataexperimentallydetermined.

Abstract:The results of recent Chinese investigations on microstructural aspects of superplastic deformation are reviewed.Attention is given to grain gro- wth,precipitate-free zone formation,grain boundary sliding and migration, and dislocation(both intragranular dislocation and grain boundary disloca- tion)activity.In the final part of the article,a new model of micrograin superplastic deformation based on the movement of grain boundary disloca- tions and involving both grain boundary sliding and diffusion is described. The predictions of the model are compared with the data experimentally determined.
