Abstract:Gleeble- 1500 thermaL/mechanical simulator tests on 6156 alloy hot compression tests were studied in the temperature 300- 450 ℃ and strain rate of 0.1 ~ 10 s^-1 under the conditions of hot deformation behavior. The results show that : during hot deformation, the flow stress can be well described by the hyperbolic sine constitutive; by optimizing the value of a, it can obtain more accurately the apparent activation energy of the alloy which is 240.97 kJ/mol. According to the dynamic materials model,it calculated and analyzed the 6156 alloy processing maps. With use of hot deformation processing maps, it identified areas of flow instability, and as the deformation temperature and deformation rate decreased gradually, the energy consumption efficiency η in creased.
