Prospecting Potential of Concealed Gold Deposits of New Types in the Bordering Areas Among Shanxi,Hebei and Inner Mongolia--With Special Respect to the Deposits of Puziwan,Jiuduigou and Shuijingtun

The paper discusses the prospecting potential of gold deposits in the bordering areas among Shanxi, Hebei and Inner Mongolia. The future prospecting direction should be the concealed gold deposits of new types such as gold-bearing crypto-explosive breccia, altered-rock, etc. The so-called focus mineralization area should be re-delineated based on new prospecting ideas. Advanced geophysical and geochemical techniques should be applied for the determination of favorable metallogenic structural positions, which supplies scientific evidence for the arrangement of test drill holes. Some new prospecting techniques and predicting results in Puziwan, Jiudugou and Shuijingtun are displayed in the paper.
