| Abstract: | Advanced high strength steels (AHSS) are very attractive for the automotive industry with advantages of lessen weight,energy saving,safety and reduced emission.Currently,a large percentage of advanced high strength steels are used in PNGV(Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles) plan and ULSAB-AVC(Ultra Light Steel Auto Body-Advanced Vehicle Concepts) plan,etc..The latest progress in development and application of advanced high strength steels for automobiles is introduced. |
