| Abstract: | Second cooling technique is an important part of continuous casting technology. In this paper , the basic principle and application of second cooling technique was discussed, including basic ways of second cooling strength control and its several choices for different kinds of steel. In the last, a proposition of reform for 1 caster' s second cooling equipment in the converter works of Guangzhou Iron & Steel Ltd. was put forward. |
