TiB2/C复合材料阴极在电解过程中的膨胀和对钠的渗透性研究

摘    要:在实验室电解槽上研究了TiB2/C复合材料阴极在铝电解过程中的膨胀率,结果表明,TiB2/C阴极在电解过程中膨胀率随TiB2/C中TiB2含量的增加而减小,钠在TiB2/C阴极中与在炭质阴极中具有相同的渗透规律.在TiB2/C阴极中既存在着钠通过孔隙向TiB2/C渗透,同时也存在着钠通过存在于TiB2/C阴极中炭素晶格向TiB2/C中渗透.与此同时,钠与存在于TiB2/C中的炭生成晶间化合物,使炭素晶格膨胀.

Abstract:The Na expansibility of TiB_2-C compound in electrolyzation is studied in an experimental aluminum reduction cell. It is found that the expansibility of TiB_2-C cathode decreases with the increase of TiB_2 content in TiB_2-C, and Na has the same penetration characteristics in TiB_2-C cathode as in carbon cathode. It is also found that Na not only penetrates into TiB_2-C through the inside cracks but also penetrates through the carbon lattice inside the TiB_2-C cathode. Meanwhile, Na reacts with carbon in TiB_2-C and forms intercrystalline compound inside the lattice which expands the carbon grains.
