| Abstract: | The market that rapidly grows in for manganese has made it increasingly important to develop processes for economical recovery of manganese from low grade pyrolusite manganese ores. This article reviews existing processes of low grade manganese ore reduction treatment including various pyrometallurgical and hydromet- allurgical processes and its recent research advances. |
