叙述宝钢铁水监控及管理系统的组成、主要功能及实现。特别强调采用DGPS卫星复合导航定位、扩频通信、地理信息集成及有线、无线混合通信等技术，机车和混铁车进行动态实时跟踪，并在此基础上对铁水计划、运输调度等进行管理，实施铁水优化分配。系统投入后有较好的经济效益。

Baosteel hot metal monitoring and management system is depicted including composition, main functions and their realization. It is emphasised to adopt the DGPS satellite compound navigation positioning technique, frequency amplifying communication technique, geographic information integration technique and wire-wireless combined communication technique etc to realize the dynamic real-time tracing of engines and torpedo cars. On the basis of collected tracing information, the hot metal planning and transportation control are managed, and hot metal is optimally distributed. After it is put into use, the good economic benefits are obtained.
