摘    要:土体黏粒含量越高则吸附能力越强,从而影响土体的持水特性,因此,黏粒含量与土-水特征曲线之间理论上存在特定关系。基于分形理论,建立了质量分维数与黏粒含量的关系式,利用已有试验数据验证了该式的合理性,并从理论上解释了质量分维数随黏粒含量增大的基本规律。在此基础之上,结合Bird等人的研究成果,建立了分形模型描述土体黏粒含量对土-水特征曲线影响规律,该模型预测的土-水特征曲线与已有不同土类样本的试验数据吻合较好,从而证明了该模型的有效性。最后,利用该模型同时预测了不同黏粒含量典型土体的土-水特征曲线,形象的阐明了黏粒含量对土-水特征曲线影响的基本规律。

A fractal model describing the relationship between clay contents and soil water characteristic curve

Abstract:The adsorption capability of soil shows increasing trend with increase of clay contents, which influences the soil water characteristic, so it is possible and worthy to establish the new method of estimating soil water characteristic curve from clay contents. Based on the fractal theory, the relation between the clay contents and the fractal dimension of particle mass is founded and experimental results show that the fractal dimension of particle mass can be calculated exactly through clay contents. Afterward, a new model of estimating soil water characteristic curve from clay contents is established following Bird and the predictions of the soil water characteristic curve from the proposed model show good agreement with the experimental results. By the proposed model, the soil water characteristic curve of soils with different clay contents is compared and the relation between clay contents and soil water characteristic curve is pictorially explained.
