工程建设的新特点与中国三峡总公司的可持续发展

Future key points at TGP and sustainable development of CTGPC

In this paper the author presents the new features in construction of the Three Gorges project (TGP) after the year 2002, and analysis has been made thoroughly of the technical difficulties and time schedule for the key items, i. e. , the river closure on the open diversion channel and the RCC cofferdam at the third-phase of the Three Gorges project. Additionally, an approach has been made to the sustainable development of the China Three Gorges Project Corporation (CTG-PC) , in the light of the important policy concerning regulation and reform of the current power system in China as well as current self-situation and conditions of the CTGPC. Unitizing self-well-known brand edge and capital strength to absorb other forms of energy to optimize its energy structure, further reduce the project cost and enhance the competitiveness in the power market by the price of electricity from the Three Gorges plant, and strengthen the scientific management to a-chieve maximum benefits of the electric production, promote the sustainable development of the CTGPC through a series of measures such as internal reform and regulation, etc.
