| Abstract: | In the late sediment-trapping phase,the operation mode of Xiaolangdi Reservoir is supposed to be such way that the sediment process should be regulated on multi-year basis and the sediment should be flushed to the downstream as much as possible on some favorable occasions.In the paper,the necessity of such operation mode is firstly analyzed.Based on simulated reservoir sedimentation and downstream erosion/deposition processes,the rationality of the operation mode is then investigated. |
