摘    要:作者通过大量的文献调研,评述了国内外学者在河口泥沙运动的基本理论、数值模型等方面的研究工作和成果,结合近年来作者关于河口水流结构、盐淡水混合以及泥沙输运的研究工作,提出加强对河口泥沙非恒定运动过程、河口最大浑浊带形成机理及其与河口拦门沙演化关系研究的必要性,并指出河口泥沙运动与河口地区湿地演变和浮游生物生长环境的关系是当前河口泥沙运动研究的两大热点。

Abstract:Based on a comprehensive reference to a great deal of literatures, this paper reviews the present state of the arts in fundamental theoretical and numerical research on estuarine sediment motion, including the authors' recent investigation on estuarine flow structure, mixing processes of fresh and salt water and sediment transport in estuaries. The unsteady dynamic processes of flow and sediment transport in estuaries are highlighted. Necessity is also addressed on studying the mechanism of maximum turbidity and its influences on the formation and evolution of mouth sand bars. Two challenging trends in the field of estuarine sediment transport are reduced to be the impact of sediment transport on wetland evolution and the aquacultural environment for zooplankton and phytoplankton.
