| Abstract: | Based on the characteristics of topography and landform of the Chaohu River Basin and the present situation, sediment deposition in the Chaohu Lake before and after large scale hydro projects construction is analyzed. The results show that the construction of hydro projects in the basin has a significant effect on the decrease of sediment deposition. |
