Water environment problems and countermeasures in Laiwu section of the Eastern Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion

With the construction of the Eastern Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion, the present situation of water pollution remediation and water environment is presented. The causes of the water environment problem are analyzed. For the improvement of the water environment in Laiwu, it is suggested that the carrying out of five environmental protection projects should be quicken, the cleaning production method be adopted, the prevention of agricultural non-point pollution be strengthened, and ecological construction be accelerated.
