| Abstract: | In the design of the double curvature arch dam, some key technical problems, such as body shape optimization of arch dam, cross section design and strength of dam body, and the design criteria of dam abutment stability, have been studied deeply. Its design concepts, methods and principles are based on the results of the key scientific and technical studied subjects during the period of the State Seventh Five Year Plan and the Eighth Five Year Plan and the results of international consultation, which also can be used for reference in the same type of projects. |
