摘    要:通过对不同初始条件下的高液限红粘土进行无荷膨胀、收缩、固结、干湿循环试验,研究该类土用作路基填料的可行性。研究得出:土体的收缩过程可以分为三个阶段,其中收缩初期及中期两个阶段的收缩量占到试样总收缩量的95%以上,土体的膨胀终应变随着循环次数增加而降低;土体在最优含水率时对其进行碾压,压实度为96%时,干湿循环作用对土体的体应变影响小,有利于路面结构层的稳定。

Abstract:A series of experiments about the red clay with high liquid limit such as the swelling test without load,shrinking test,consolidation test and drying-wetting circle test are carried out to research the feasibility of using this soil as subgrade filling.It is proved from the experiments that the shrinking process can be divided into three stages,the early shrinkage and medium shrinkage account for 95% or more of shrinkage,and the vertical deformation of soil decreases when the number of drying-wetting cycles increases.It is also proved that the volumetric strain does not change significantly in the drying-wetting circle process when ω in soil samples tends to optimum moisture content and the degree of compaction is 96%,and the deformation of soil has little influence on pavement structures.
