| Abstract: | The flow field over an overflow weir is simulated by coupling the volume of fluid ( VOF) method to deal with the interface between water and gas and by use of two equations of k-e turbulence model. The pressure distribution over an overflow weir and the velocity are calculated, and calculation results are in good agreement with those measured in the physical model. |
