| Abstract: | This article deals with pre-condition, principle and processes, applications and a number of advantages of plastics laser welding. It points out that it is possible to successfully achieve laser welding of plastics by adding suitable absorbent and selecting correct plastics and laser parameters. It has been proven that laser welding is not only a viable , but also a better plastics welding method. |
