THE PLASMA TECHNIQUE AND ITS APPLICATIONIN THE COAL SYNTHESIS GAS

It is summarized that the historical development of the plasma chemistry, theproperties, the plasma initiation, the reactions, the application of the plasma respectively. Then,the historical studies and the recent development in coal synthesis gas by the low temperature andhigh temperature plasma gasification. It is pointed emphatically that high temperature plasmagasification of coal will become the most economic and clean way for coal synthesis gas in the future and the technique should be studied deeply.
