Abstract:Flame retardant mechanism of magnesium hydroxide was summarized. Uhrafine graine, surface modification treating and synergistic flame retardance effect with other flame retardants in the polymer modification was introduced. Development trend of magnesium hydroxide flame retardant modifications were prospected.
