摘    要:采用碱式硫酸镁晶须(MOS)与有机蒙脱土(OMMT)作为阻燃剂制备了阻燃聚丙烯(PP),研究了MOS和OMMT用量对阻燃PP力学性能和阻燃性能的影响,并通过热失重分析(TGA)和锥形量热仪(CONE)对材料进行了表征。结果表明:MOS对PP有良好的增强阻燃作用,少量OMMT的加入可以进一步提高阻燃PP的阻燃性能。当MOS与OMMT用量分别为40.0%和3.0%时,阻燃PP的OI为28.5%,其热释放速率峰值(pHRR)和平均热释放速率(mHRR)分别为156.5kW/m2和112.9kW/m2,比基体树脂分别下降了83.3%和72.1%,同时其抑烟性能也大为改善。

Abstract:The non-halogen flame retardant PP was prepared by using magnesium hydroxide sulfate hydrate whisker (MOS) and organophilic montmorillonite (OMMT) as flame retardants. The effects of the contents of MOS and OMMT on the mechanical properties and flame retardancy of the PP were studied. The composites were characterized by means of TGA and CONE. The results showed that MOS had good flame retardant effect on PP. The addition of OMMT could further improve the flame retardancy of PP. When the content of MOS and OMMT was 40.0% and 3.0% respectively, the OI of flame retardant PP was 28.5%, and the pHRR and mHRR was 156.5 kW/m2 and 112.9 kW/m2, which was reduced by 83.3% and 72.1% respectively, and the performance of smoke suppression was improved remarkably.
