聚酯/TGIC粉末涂料的贮存稳定性与性能退化

摘    要:粉末涂料在贮存期间可发生物理及化学变化,高温贮存会造成粉末涂料因化学变化而产生不可逆的性能劣化。为找到粉末涂料的贮存稳定性与配方、生产以及贮存条件的关系,本研究通过分析粉末涂料的 Tg、原材料、生产工艺等因素,发现粉末涂料的贮存稳定性以及性能劣化与粉末涂料的 Tg、固化剂 TGIC(异氰尿酸三缩水甘油酯)的品质、聚酯 /TGIC的配比、固化促进剂的使用以及生产加工工艺等因素密切相关。可以用差示扫描量热仪( DSC)检测粉末涂料的热性能变化、通过测定粉末涂料胶化时间以及倾斜板流动值的变化大致判断粉末涂料的性能劣化程度,有必要出库前再次喷板检验重新评价粉末涂料质量,从而避免将性能劣化严重的粉末涂料发往客户,造成严重后果。

Abstract:The physical and chemical changes of powder coatings may occur during storage.Storage in high temperature will cause irreversible performance deterioration of powder coatings due to chemical changes.In order to find the relation between the storage stability of powder coatings and the formulation,production and storage conditions,this paper analyzed the Tg,raw materials,production process and other factors of powder coatings,and concluded that the storage stability and performance deterioration of powder during storage was closely related to the Tgof powder coatings,the quality of curing agent TGIC,the ratio of polyester/TGIC,the use of curing accelerator and the processing technology.The performance deterioration degree of powder coatings could be roughly determined by the thermal characteristics of powder coatings determined by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),and measurement of the gel time of powder coatings and its flow value on inclined plate.It is necessary to check again the powder quality by spraying sample panel and checking before delivery,so can avoid the serious performance deterioration of powder sent to customers,eventually leading to customer complaints.
