<正>印度轮胎工业起源于19世纪20年代,1926年英国邓禄普公司在印度成立了第一家轮胎公司。其后其他的外国轮胎公司陆续进入印度市场,包括美国的固特异和费尔斯通轮胎公司。在1947年印度独立之前,印度轮胎工业一直被国外的轮胎企业所垄断。直到19世纪60～70年代,印度的民族轮胎制造业才真正开始。根据统计,直至1974年,印度轮胎生产能力的64%依旧被外国轮胎企业控制。

Tyre industry fast growth in India

According to the latest statistics of India Tire Association, India has owned 39 tire companies, with 61 tire factories. The sales of top 10 tire companies occupy 98% of the total market share. Amongst them, MRF, Apollo and JK Industrial Company are outstanding, with more than 60% market share. In recent two years, with the rapid development of domestic highway construction, India has started the production of radial tires. Many big companies have launched radial tire items. Indian tire industry is entering the express.
