Testing Results Analysis and Supervision Suggestions on of Seaweed Facial Mask Cosmetic

According to"safety and technical specifications for cosmetics"(2015 edition)and"method for the detection of preservatives in cosmetics(draft for comment)",50 batches of commercially seaweed facial mask cosmetics were determined for microorganisms and preservatives.The testing results of the content of preservatives were compared with the claims on the label identification of products.The safety and quality status of seaweed facial mask cosmetics were analyzed,and some reasonable supervision suggestions were put forward for the discovered risk factors.The results showed that 17 batches of unqualified samples were detected,the unqualified rate was 34.0%,in which the unqualified items were microbial limit(15 batches)and the content of preservatives(2 batches).Furthermore,40 batches of problematic samples were found,the problem discovery rate was 80%.39 Batches of problematic samples were ascribed to the inconsistency between the detected ingredients of the preservatives with the label identification,7 batches were failed to replace the production certification documents in time,and 8 batches were unfiled on the website of the national bureau as required.Based on the results,multi-dimensional analysis were carried out.It is pointed out that there are many problems in the seaweed facial mask cosmetics market,and special rectification of such cosmetics should be strengthened to purify the market.
