Abstract:Rising crude oil price and development of biological ethanol have influenced ethylene production.The technology of ethylene production from ethanol dehydration is discussed,including the development and research of dehydration catalyst,technologies and economics of different production technologies,and the important role of developing the technology of producing ethylene from ethanol is indicated.
