Abstract:Global warming, caused by greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide), has become a key environmental problem. Since the costs for greenhouse gas capture and separation are far too high, the studies on very large separation technology are vivid recent years. The recent advances on capture and separation CO2 by solvent absorption, membrane process, pressure swing adsorption and etc are reviewed in this paper. The potential technical developments are also discussed.
