The recent progress of research on some types of functional paints in China were introduced,such as waterborne fire-resistant and damping paint,low-emission and low-reflection paint,electrothermal paint,multifunctional nanoparticle-containing paint for long and large tunnels,electromagnetic shielding paint,intelligent temperature control paint,ultraviolet-curable graphene oxide/polyurethane composite paint,moisture-regulating and antibacterial paint,heat-insulating or wear-resistant transparent paint,solar heat-reflective paint,transfer paint,self-sealing polymer-containing waterproof cement paint,low-VOC(volatile organic compound)room-temperature-curable fluorocarbon paint,waterborne diatom-containing air-purifying interior wall paint,environment-friendly multifunctional odorless paint,moisture-curable rust conversion paint,dry-powder-textured paint,anti-carbonation paint,light-emitting paint,and anti-graffiti and non-stick paint.
