Abstract:A novel orange phosphorescent Iridium(Ⅲ) complex Ir(ppy)2(H2dcppy)PF6 was synthesized with 2-phenyl pyridine(ppy),2,2’-bipyridine-4,4’-dicarboxylic acid(H2dcppy) and iridium hydrate.Its structure was confirmed by FTIR and 1HNMR.From the UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence,it showed obvious MLCT absorption(singlet and triplet metal to ligand charge transfer absorption) and an intense orange phosphorescence.These results indicated it should be applied in the field of OLED.
