摘    要:以没食子酸甲酯为原料,通过醚化反应合成含十二烷基的没食子酸衍生物2。该衍生物进一步与水合肼肼解得到含十二烷基的没食子酸酰肼3。化合物3再与对苯二甲醛反应,合成了新型十二烷基没食子酸席夫碱二聚体4,分离简便,产率高。新化合物的结构经红外、核磁和质谱表征。差热分析和偏光显微镜观察表明,其具有很好的液晶性能。

The Synthesis and Properties of Novel Gallic Acid Liquid Crystal Dimer

Abstract:Using methyl gallate as starting material, dodecyl gallic acid derivative 2 was obtained. Compound 2 was ammonlyzed by hydrazine hydrate to afford compound 3. Then reacting compound 3 with phenylenediamine, novel gallic acid Schiff base dimer was synthesized in simple separation and high yield of 80%. The structures of new compounds were characterized by 1H NMR spectra and MS spectra. The studies of DSC curves and POM showed it exhibited good property of liquid crystal.
