Abstract:In order to illuminate distribution characteristics and current status of pollutants in the sediment of Yishu River,sediment samples from 29 sampling stations were collected.The determination included concentrations of organic matter,total nitrogen,total phosphorus,and available phosphorus in the sediment of each station.The article also analyzed the correlation of C/N,N/P,and nutritional factors.Moreover,pollution assessment for contaminant sediments was conducted.The distribution of total nitrogen and total phosphorus in the surface sediments of Yishu River basin was very similar,but with large spatial differences.The organic matter distribution was different,and its organic matter content was far lower than the river plus spatial difference,which indicated that organic matter content and river erosion were not only related to hydrodynamic conditions and river environment,but also related to characteristics of the subsoil.Results showed that effective phosphorus content was about 17.7%of TP content,due to farmland and human activities on water environment caused pollution to a certain extent and eventually enriched in the mud.According to regression analysis of C/N,N/P ratio,organic matter,nitrogen,and phosphorus content,carbon and nitrogen had homology.The sediment organic matter and nitrogen source had an impact on biological sedimentation,and phosphorus mainly stem from the external input.According to the results,the overall environmental quality of Yishu River sediment was relatively good,and the nitrogen pollution level is relatively low.
