Abstract:The effects of antioxidants 1010 and 2246, and the compression stress on thermal-oxidative aging properties of DCPD-EPDM/CIIR and ENB-EPDM/CIIR rubber blends, both vulcanized with sulfur were studied, respectively. The results showed that the antioxidants improved the mechanical properties and thermal-oxidative aging of DCPD-EPDM/CIIR blend remarkbly, while the compression stress had an effect on the service life of ENB-EPDM/CIIR blends.
