计算机视觉在刀具状态监测中的应用

摘    要:介绍了计算机视觉方法在刀具状态监测中的应用情况,主要包括基于刀具表面图像,基于工件表面图像和基于切屑图像的三类监测方法。基于刀具表面图像的视觉监测方法,直接摄取刀上磨破损部位的图像,具有判断准确的特点,但难以在切削过程中实现监测。基于工件表面图像的视觉监测方法,由于工件的高速旋转时,难以获取工件表面的清晰图像,也不宜用于切削过程监测。基于切屑图像的视觉接监测方法,可以克服前两种方法的缺点,是一种有发展前途的新方法。

Abstract:The applications of computer vision methods in tool condition monitoring are introduced which include the method based on tool surface images, the method based on workpiece surface images and the method based on tool chip images. The method based on tool surface images obtains directly the images of the wearing and breakage parts of tools, and it can estimate exactly the conditions of tools. But this method can not be easily used for online inspection. The method based on workpiece surface images either cannot be used for online inspection because of the difficulty to obtain images in high speed circumrotating of workpieces. The method based on tool chip images is a new method for online inspection of tool conditions, and it can overcome the disadvantages of the two aforementioned methods, so it is a promising new method.
