| Abstract: | Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm is a stochastic optimization technique based on swarm intelligence. It has the advantages of easy realization with a few parameters to be adjusted. It is especially popular in engineering application. The background, basic algorithm, improved algorithms, research hot isssues and the application fields are analyzed and the prospect is discussed. |
