锂离子电池正极材料表面包覆MgO的研究

摘    要:锂离子电池正极材料和电解液之间的恶性相互作用是引起正极材料和电池性能劣化的重要原因.实验研究了在锂离子电池正极材料尖晶石LiMn2O4上包覆MgO来改善材料在循环过程中容量衰减过快的问题.研究表明,MgO包覆层的存在减少了正极材料与电解液的直接接触,阻止了电解液对材料的侵蚀,从而有效地改善了材料的循环性能.

Abstract:The vicious interaction between the positive active materials and the electrolyte within the Li-ion batteries accounts for the deteriorating of the performance of the cathode materials and batteries.In order to improve the structural stability of the LiMn_2O_4 as cathode materials of Li-ion batteries in cycling,spinel LiMn_2O_4 is coated with a thin layer of MgO.The study shows that the layer of MgO can reduce the direct contact of LiMn_2O_4 with electrolyte,avoiding corrosion from the electrolyte and enhancing the electrochemical performance of the positive active materials for lithium ion batteries.
