Characteristics of the lower atmospheric duct in China

The methods and results of the research on the lower atmospheric duct in China and briefly described. For ducts over the mainland, the duct meteorological regions are divided, and the occurrences of ducts in these regions are different, and its variations with seasons and months are given in detail. The research methods and results of evaporation ducts are described in detail with the theory described, which is used for the calculation of evaporation duct and profile. The sub Marsden squares of the South China sea and the East China sea are listed and the variations with months of the parameters of evaporation ducts in these squares such as occurrences, duct height, duct strength are shown by charts.
