| Abstract: | The connotation and characteristics of advanced manufacturing technology are reviewed from international backgrounds of raising the concept of advanced manufacturing technology. The important effect of advanced manufacturing technology on our modern equipment manufacturing industry is emphasized. Then, an urgent need and a deeper thought for advanced manufacturing technology are put forward from the view of development of equipment manufacturing industry in our country and in Shanghai. |
