| Abstract: | Based on the theoretical analysis of methods for determining the ultimate bearing capacity of geosynthetic-reinforced foundation, a reinforcement soil interaction mechanism is discussed. A modified equation is derived to evaluate ultimate bearing capacity of reinforced foundations. The application of geosynthetic-reinforced foundation in the ground improvement of chemical equipment is also introduced. |
