| Abstract: | With the advance of globalization in 21st century,bilingual education has been a topic heatedly discussed at the tertiary level of Chinese education.The bilingual education in Chinese universities and colleges is an access to promoting the internationalization of Chinese higher education and cultivating innovative professional corresponding to requirements of international competition.This paper incorporates the requirements of globalization into the theoretical basis and implication of bilingual education and explores the necessity and practice of bilingual education at the tertiary level of Chinese education. |
