| Abstract: | This paper introduces the familiar shear connector and analyses the virtue of stud shear connectors,presents a comparative study of the design methods in Canada Code for design of steel structure with Code for design of steel structure（GB50017-2003）.Finally,this paper points out that China Code is relatively conservative. |
