| 摘 要： | 祈使句是根据其语用功能划分出来的句类。从语法手段和语用功能两方面比较了英语和汉语祈使句的异同,发现在表达祈使意义上,汉语的词汇比英语丰富,而英语表达祈使意义的句法更趋多样化。这种对比对搞好外语教学和跨文化交际有一定的指导意义。

| Abstract: | Imperative gets its name from its pragmatic use.This paper intends to investigate the differences and similarities between English imperatives and Chinese counterparts and finds that Mandarin Chinese lexicon is richer in conveying imperative meanings whereas English varies in syntax.And this kind of contrastive analysis is of great help to foreign language teaching and cross-cultural communications. |
