摘    要:目前,视频压缩技术在多个领域得到了广泛的关注和应用。文章首先分析了视频图像压缩的必要性和可能性,然后,从冗余度压缩和信息量压缩两个方面分析了视频压缩的两类方法,最后,对现有视频压缩标准体系及视频压缩理论进行了分析和对比,研究结果表明:H.264(IVIPEG-4AV0和JPEG2000将成为未来视频压缩技术的发展主体,同时,H.264获得了更高的压缩性能,同时具有更好的网络适应性,是未来视频压缩技术的主要发展方向。

Abstract:Currently, video compression technology has been widely concerned and used in many fields. Firstly, this paper analyzes the necessity and possibility of video compression. Secondly, it discusses two ways of video compression from two aspects: redundancy compression and information compression. Finally, it analyzes and compares the existing video compression standard systems and theories. The research shows that H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) and JPEG2000 will become the main parts of the video compression technologies in the future and at the same time, H. 264 gets higher compression performance and has better network adaptability and it is the main developing direction.
