| Abstract: | The Theory of Speech Acts and Discourse Analysis both fall into the category of language application. Through the study on the relationship between them, pointed out is that the Theory of Speech Acts presents a theoretical basis for Discourse Analysis and Discourse Analysis, in turn, makes contributions to the development of the Theory of Speech Acts. |
