摘    要:道路交通安全状况不但对社会生活的质量影响很大,而且与人们的自身利益也息息相关。选用主成分分析方法对某省道路交通安全状况进行评价。首先,选择绝对事故指标变量作为评价指标,并对某省的指标数据作统计特征描述。而后运用主成分分析方法得到待评价高速公路的综合评分及排序结果,最后给出相应的改善措施。研究结果表明,应用主成分分析评价道路交通安全状况是可行的。

Abstract:Road traffic safety has not only a significant impact on the quality of social life but also a close relationship with the people ' interests. A principle component analysis method is adopted to evaluate the traffic safety situation for freeway. It firstly selects the absolute trafffic accident variables as evaluation indices and further makes their statistical characteristic analysis. The priciple component analysis method is then used to obtain the global scores and ranking results in terms of freeway' traffic safety situation. Finally, the corresponding improvement is also advised. The results show that applying the principle component analysis to evaluate traffic safety for freeway is feasible.
