| Abstract: | This paper, based on numerical calculations and model experiments,describes the function of smooth re-active power regulation of a new type controlled reactor. Its ability of restriction of overvoltage by a big-margin is revealed and on the basis of an ideal mathematical model, the mechanism of overvoltage suppression is analyzed. |
