| Abstract: | This paper presents a new device for far distance object detection by using ultrasonic sensor. Since the same transducer is used for both transmitting and receiving, the special circuits and software with micro chip computer are suggested, and a time window is introduced for receiving. It shows that the device is able to detect objects located as far as 30 meters away by using a smaller ultrasonic sensor. |
