| Abstract: | The kinetics of the esterification of p-phthalic acid with 2-ethylhexanol was studied.The rate equation for the non-acid NL-01 type catalytic esterification was expressed as -dCA/dt=kCA, where A represents p-phthalic acid. The apparent activation energy was Ea= 37. 24KJ/mol. |
