Abstract:In some ratio, very-high-early-strength MPC can be produced. By using over-fired magnesia (MgO) and mono-am- monium phosphate (NH4H2PO4) as main raw material and borax as retarder. The compressive strength at 3h is 39.4 MPa, the strength at 1d is 55MPa. There are several main factors that influencel mechanical properties of MPC pure paste: NH4H2PO4/ MgO ratio; specific surface area of MgO; water-binder ratio etc.
